The Pot Slot is designed specifically for standard terra cotta clay pots (the classic ones with the thick top rim). It fits standard 4–7″ pots. The routed slots cradle the rim securely, so they won’t slip through or blow out in the wind. Pots not included.

Setup is incredibly simple. Every Pot Slot comes with sturdy rope already attached. Just hang it from a sturdy ceiling hook, a porch beam, or a heavy-duty fence bracket. Because damp soil and clay pots get heavy, ensure your mounting hook is anchored into solid wood or a stud.

We build these from solid cedar and cherry because they naturally resist rot. We treat each hanger with a protective oil finish before it leaves the shop. If hung outdoors, the wood will naturally weather to a beautiful silvery-gray over time.
